Valley Baptist School.
Valley Baptist School was started in 1998 with the purpose of educating youth in a godly Christian environment separated from the world. In conjunction, our goal is to assist parents in equipping their children to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. The school partners with parents and the local church to create a triple-stranded bond to the heart of the child. When each fulfills their respective role, the student has a far greater chance of accomplishing the aforementioned goals. Valley Baptist School is a Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade traditional Christian school. We are a ministry of Valley Baptist Church and adhere to the same doctrinal position.
Academics
Valley Baptist School is distinctly Christian with a strong balance in academics. We strive for our students to master the educational essentials such as reading, phonics, math, science and English. The book of Proverbs states that "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." The aim of education ought to be the development of wisdom and understanding. The School curriculum is comprised of the common coursework as well as daily Biblical instruction.
Staff
All of our full-time teachers have been chosen for their academic ability as well as their Christian character. Teachers do not just teach subjects, they exemplify the successful Christian life. Students not only see their teachers at school, they observe their teachers serving in the church.
ENVIRONMENT
Students experience an atmosphere of peace and virtue. Respect in the classroom, a quiet work environment, and moral conversation all foster an environment that is conducive to learning. Students enjoy an atmosphere free from immorality.
ATHLETICS
Believing athletics not only reveals character, but also builds character. Students engage in inter-school athletics beginning in the 7th grade. All grades engage in physical education throughout the week.
As an Arizona taxpayer, your donation to ACSTO provides scholarships for students to attend Christian Schools while you receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against your state tax liability!
A tax credit is very different than a charitable deduction—rather than reduce your taxable income, it directly reduces your state tax liability (a.k.a. the tax you pay). This means that at the end of the year, if you normally receive a refund, you’ll get a bigger refund. If you normally owe taxes, you’ll owe less. It is to your advantage to participate in this program!
For example, if your tax liability is $1,000 and you make a $750 donation to ACSTO, your liability will be reduced to $250.
In addition, you can donate all the way up until Tax Day or before you file your taxes (whichever of these comes first), and still claim the credit for the previous tax year.
The best part? ACSTO uses your tax credit donation to award tuition scholarships to Christian School students attending one of our Partner Schools. You can even identify a school or recommend a specific student to be considered for a scholarship.
